The
Kenyon-Wanamingo CHI Council
sponsored a community-wide
event on Wednesday,
September 22nd
at
6:30 at the KWHS Auditorium in
Kenyon. Parents,
youth and members of the Kenyon
and Wanamingo communities attended
this special event to gain
information about the local
statistics regarding Alcohol and
Drug use amongst the youth, along
with, learned more about the
current trends and prevention
information throughout the
communities. Current 2010
Minnesota State Student Survey
results were presented and the key
speaker for the event was Lee
Sjolander, Chief of Police.
He shared his “Toy Box” of drug
related paraphernalia and educated
the attendees on what is happening
locally. |
